However, my most recent culinary catastrophe got me thinking about SYSPRO&#8217;s functionality and convenience. Let me elaborate.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite foods is bread.\u00a0 I love the texture, the smell, the taste, and can consume it morning, noon and night.\u00a0 In a previous blog I mentioned that I&#8217;ve been trying to follow a low-carb eating style and of course bread is now on top of the hit list.\u00a0 After extensive Googling I found a simple and straight-forward recipe for a bread alternative called &#8216;Oopsies&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients are few:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>100g (3.5 ounces) cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>A pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tablespoon Psyllium husks<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The method is not difficult either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Separate eggs<\/li>\n<li>Whip egg whites with the salt until very stiff<\/li>\n<li>Mix egg yolks and cream cheese well, add psyllium husks and baking powder<\/li>\n<li>Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mix<\/li>\n<li>Bake in oven at 150\u00b0C (300\u00b0F) for about 25 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since cream cheese comes in a 250g tub, I had to multiply the recipe by 2.5.\u00a0 I took eight eggs and separated the whites from the yolk.\u00a0 With happiness and vigor I whipped the egg whites until stiff in my trusty Kitchen Aid and like a true master chef took the bowl and held it upside down over my head.<\/p>\n<p>Dramatic pause .<\/p>\n<p>It held! Nope, that was not the moment that things went awry.\u00a0 The egg whites were whipped into fluffy white clouds and stayed put in the bowl.<\/p>\n<p>So I mixed the remaining ingredients and added the egg whites.\u00a0 And this is when things fell apart.\u00a0 Instead of folding in the egg whites gently I tossed them into the mixer and my fluffy clouds turned into a thunderstorm!<\/p>\n<p>Nothing much I could do to save that batter.\u00a0 My dogs now have lovely low-carb treats.<\/p>\n<p>So this is when I started thinking about SYSPRO.
